Quiet NYC

NYC can be surprisingly quiet. Shocking, I know. Oh, the wonderful NY Public Library's designated quiet zones. Perfect for super heroes to sneak up on villains.

This and other images are included in a slideshow I made on Kirtsy today. Check it out here.

My goal: To give a sense of the slower, more serene side of the city.

How'd I do? Where do you go to escape all the noise this city generates? If, of course, you don't have a beach house in the Hamptons.

  1. This post reminds me of one of the songs K will be competiting in this year. The song is entitled "It's Oh So Quiet" by Bjork. Great pics of the library:)

  2. You're such a breath of fresh air. I love this post. You did such an amazing job. You're amazingly grounded. Keep it up.

  3. Wow, great pictures! I think you perfectly captured some relaxing and creative alternatives to Times Square and other touristy locations. LOVE what you put together. I'm from NJ and usually tend to frequent noisier places...you've inspired me to find a quiet, serene nook next time I'm in the city!
